Yesterday was all about supporting the next generation of divers through work experience with Stafford College Today was another fantastic day in the water with Staffordshire Divers. What makes a dive club special is not just the diving — it’s the people, the support, the teamwork, and the willingness to help each other improve. Some comments from today’s divers really summed up what our club is about: “Clear awesome guidance... this guy made me a better diver today.” “Fantastic, clear and direct, put me at ease.” “Thank you for a great day diving… a fantastic group of divers and very friendly and welcoming. Great teamwork.” A massive thank you to everyone who helped make today such a success, especially our Dive Managers, experienced divers, and members who are always willing to guide, mentor, encourage, and support others both in and out of the water. This weekend we’re combining diver training, science, and some fun diving at Staffordshire Divers 🤿 On Saturday, we’ll be supporting a student from Stafford College undertaking work experience and introducing them to some of the science and physics behind scuba diving, including experiments and demonstrations such as: • Colour loss at depth • Balloon compression and Boyle’s Law • DSMB and air expansion demonstrations • Underwater navigation exercises • Buoyancy and pressure experiments Then on Sunday we’ll be heading out for a pleasure dive for club members, with guests also welcome to join us. Whether you’re interested in training, dive theory, improving your skills, or just getting underwater with other divers, there’s always something happening at Staffordshire Divers.
