Join Our Mission to Keep Staffordshire Divers Safe
At Staffordshire Divers, we’re more than just a club – we’re a community of divers who share a passion for the underwater world and a commitment to safety. As we continue to grow and welcome more members, we’re taking steps to ensure that we’re fully equipped to handle emergencies, protect our divers, and provide peace of mind during every dive. That’s why we’re launching a fundraising campaign to purchase essential life-saving equipment: an Oxygen (O2) Cylinder Kit and a Defibrillator (AED).Why These Tools Are So Important
Diving is an exciting and rewarding activity, but like any adventure sport, it comes with its risks. Immediate access to emergency equipment can save lives in situations such as:- Decompression sickness (the bends)
- Cardiac events
- Medical emergencies on the surface
