Becoming a member of Staffordshire Divers offers you access to our vibrant community, regular dive trips, training opportunities, and social events. You can choose to pay your membership monthly or annually:

  • Monthly Membership Fee: £7.50
  • Annual Membership Fee: £81.00 (includes a 10% discount and a free Staffordshire Divers T-shirt)

BSAC Membership Costs

Joining BSAC provides national membership benefits, including comprehensive insurance, access to structured training, and a subscription to Scuba Magazine. Below is the breakdown of BSAC national membership costs:

  • Individual Membership: £62 per year
  • Student Membership: £31 per year (valid student ID required)
  • Family Membership: £40.80 per year (per person; available for households with 2+ members)
  • Junior Membership: £30 per year (under 18 years)

Total Cost for BSAC Members:
BSAC membership costs are separate from Staffordshire Divers membership. You can pay for Staffordshire Divers membership:

  • Monthly: £7.50 per month
  • Annually: £81.00 (includes a free T-shirt and a 10% discount)

PADI Membership

For PADI members, the only required fee is the Staffordshire Divers membership. While PADI divers are not required to join BSAC, we highly recommend obtaining suitable insurance for your diving activities. Options include:

  • Third-Party Insurance: Obtain diving insurance through a provider of your choice.
  • BSAC Membership: Join BSAC to gain comprehensive insurance coverage. PADI divers using BSAC for insurance are not required to cross over if they prefer to stay with the PADI system.

Total Cost for PADI Members:

  • Staffordshire Divers Membership: £81 (annual) or £7.50 (monthly)

Insurance Recommendations
