Dive Trip to Capernwray with Staffordshire Divers
Staffordshire Divers recently headed to Capernwray, one of the UK’s premier inland dive sites, for a day of underwater exploration and skill-building. Known for its crystal-clear waters and fascinating underwater attractions, Capernwray provided the perfect setting for our club’s latest adventure.

Situated in the heart of Lancashire, Capernwray Quarry is a favorite destination for divers of all experience levels. Its well-maintained facilities, scenic location, and diverse underwater features make it an exceptional place to dive. With depths reaching 20 meters and excellent visibility, Capernwray offers a safe yet exciting environment for training and recreational diving.

- Unique Underwater Attractions: Discover sunken treasures like a helicopter, boats, and even a gnome garden!
- Marine Life: Encounter an array of fish, including trout, sturgeon, and koi carp, adding to the vibrant underwater scenery.

What We Got Up To
Our dive trip to Capernwray was packed with activities and opportunities for members to enhance their skills while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Here’s a snapshot of the day:

- Wreck Diving: Members explored the sunken attractions, including a submerged plane and various vehicles.
