Chris qualifies at Capernwray: a whole new world to explore

From first breaths to qualifying dives

Starting diving means getting used to unfamiliar equipment, learning new ways to communicate and discovering how to move in an environment where everything feels different.

Chris started as a beginner and has now completed his entry-level diving qualification at Capernwray. It is an exciting achievement and one we are delighted to celebrate at Staffordshire Divers.

Learning a different way to explore

Diving gives you a different perspective on the world. Instead of watching from the shore, you can discover what lies beneath the surface.

Getting started involves learning how to plan and enjoy a dive with a buddy, understand equipment and develop control in the water. Those foundations provide something to build on as experience grows.

For Chris, completing his qualifying dives marks a significant step in that journey.

A qualification and a club to dive with

One of the benefits of learning as part of a club is having people around you to share the next steps. There are opportunities to ask questions, exchange experiences and continue developing through suitable club dives.
