Alan and Elaine: a shared adventure at Stoney Cove

A new hobby to share

Taking up a new activity together gives a couple plenty of shared experiences. With diving, that includes getting familiar with equipment, learning underwater signals and discovering what it feels like to breathe beneath the surface.

For Alan and Elaine, that journey has now led to completing their entry-level diving qualifications at Stoney Cove.

From beginners to qualified divers

Both Alan and Elaine were new to diving. Their qualifying dives mark an achievement for each of them, as well as a memorable milestone to share as a couple.

Learning involves developing individual skills while understanding how to work with a buddy. Completing that initial training creates a foundation for gaining experience and continuing to improve.

More memories to make

With their initial qualifications completed, Alan and Elaine have a new activity to enjoy together and opportunities to keep learning through club diving.

There is plenty to look forward to, from exploring suitable dive sites to sharing the experiences with other members over a conversation after the dive.
